Who knew that a few spirited adolescents from a tiny hamlet of Patil Pada in Boisar (Maharashtra) would achieve the unthinkable
Our volunteers are always striving to harness latent talent among students. In this endeavor, two months ago, volunteers Akash Vanga and Anup Shende started giving dance practice sessions to ten students from the Patil Pada abhyasika, (Community Learning Center - CLC).
As they say, dance enables you to find yourself and lose yourself at the same time. These young students who had hardly ventured out of their hamlet dedicatedly practiced 'Dangi' - Tribal Folk Dance and gave a performance of their lifetime. At the recently held 'Kalankur Karandak 2022' competition organized at Thane by Kalankur Art Foundation, the Dangi troupe won the prestigious *'Kalankur Karandak 2022' - Best Group Dance Trophy'. And even bagged the 'Best Costume', and 'Best Dance Director' in 1st & 2nd position respectively There was no limit to the joy among the participants and audience during the live performance. Apart from academic progress, Our CLCs are becoming the epitome of creative talent in various forms of art - be it dance, singing, music, painting & much more. Seva Sahayog Foundation runs 75+ CLCs in and around Mumbai region imparting curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular training after school hours to 2500 + needy students for their holistic development towards a brighter future.

कलांकुर करंडक २०२२' 🏆🏆🏆
कलांकुर आर्ट फाऊंडेशन, महाराष्ट्र मार्फत आयोजित केलेल्या पहिल्याच 'कलांकुर करंडक २०२२' चे मानकरी ठरले आपले सेवा सहयोग फाऊंडेशन संचलित, 'समुत्कर्ष-अभ्यासिका' प्रकल्पाच्या पालघर जिल्हा, बोईसरच्या शिगाव गावातील पाटील पाडा अभ्यासिकेचे विद्यार्थी!
या स्पर्धेसाठी आपल्या इयत्ता ७-८ वी च्या एकूण १० विद्यार्थ्यांनी दीड महिना अथक तालीम केली. कार्यकर्ता आकाश वनगा व मित्रवर्य अनुप शेंडे यांनी मुलांच्या क्षमता ओळखून फारच सुंदर 'डांगी' हा आदिवासी लोकनृत्यप्रकार निवडून नृत्य बसविले.
दिनांक १४ डिसेंबर २०२२ रोजी ठाण्यातील गडकरी रंगायतन नाट्यमंदिरात झालेल्या अत्यंत चुरशीच्या स्पर्धेत आपल्या चमूस 'सर्वोत्कृष्ट वेशभूषा' - प्रथम क्रमांक, 'उत्कृष्ट नृत्य दिग्दर्शक' - द्वितीय क्रमांक प्राप्त झाला आणि सोबतच अत्यंत मानाचा असा 'कलांकुर करंडक २०२२ *'सर्वोत्कृष्ट समूहनृत्य चषक' प्राप्त झाला.
विद्यार्थ्यांना योग्य मार्गदर्शन मिळाल्यास ते काय चमत्कार करू शकतात याचा आम्हा सर्वांनाच मिळालेला सुखद अनुभव खूप काही शिकवून गेला.
