Atom

 


The smallest particle of any element is called an atom.​

 

The concept that matter is made up of very fine particles (atoms) was proposed by the ancient Indian scientist Kanada.​

 

Atoms are made up of three types of sub particles.​

 

Electron - negatively charged particle​

 

Proton – Positively Charged particle​

 

Neutron - Neutral particle, a particle with no charge​
