DAY AND NIGHT

• The Earth rotates around its axis, an imaginary line that passes through its center. This movement is called rotation.

• Our earth revolves around itself in the direction from west to east.

• Different parts of the Earth sphere come to light in sequence and move away from light in the same order.

• Earth takes about 24 hours to make one rotation.

• The part of the earth facing the sun is observes day and the other half observes night.
