DAY AND NIGHT
• The Earth rotates around its axis, an imaginary line that
passes through its center. This movement is called rotation.
• Our earth revolves around itself in the direction from
west to east.
• Different parts of the Earth sphere come to light in
sequence and move away from light in the same order.
• Earth takes about 24 hours to make one rotation.
• The part of the earth facing the sun is observes day and
the other half observes night.
