Newton's Disc
· British scientist Sir Isaac Newton made a Disc.
· One side of it is divided into equal petals of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and purple
· Place the plate on the stand and rotate it vigorously. At that time only one white color was seen instead of seven colors, proving that sunlight is made up of seven colors. That's why it is called 'Newton Disc’.
·
Newton also wrote 'The Optics' on light.
