DNA Model ​


 

·            Deoxyribonucleic acid is a type of nucleic acid found in the nucleus of every cell in the human body.​

·            First this acid was found only in the nucleus so it was named Nucleic acid.​

·            DNA stores information about living organisms​

·            This information is responsible for the passing of traits from one generation to another.​

·            In each pair of chromosomes one chromosome comes from the father and one from the mother.​

·            Human form, color, intelligence, skill, eye color, shape, skin color are all important factors in human anatomy. These elements determined by the chromosomes.​

·            Chromosomes are mainly made up of DNA.​

·            In DNA, each strand of the molecule is made up of many small molecules called nucleotides. Nitrogenous substances are of four types namely adenine, guanine, cytosine and thymine.​
