Magnet​


 


Lodestone is a type of stone found in iron or steel mines called magnetite. This material has magnetic properties.​

 

Any object or material that creates a magnetic field and  attracts iron, cobalt, nickel is called magnet.​

 

A magnet has two poles. North Pole and South Pole​

 

Two like poles attract each other.​

 

Two opposite poles attract each other.​
